Wrynose Pass Marathon 2010

Pyxis Odyssey are organising what's set to be one of the UK's most Extreme Marathons across the stunning Wrynose and Hardknott Passes in the Lake District.

Set in the rolling hills between the Duddon Valley and Little Langdale, the Wrynose pass, once named 'the pass of the stallion' is set to be a challenge for even the most experienced of runners. This is one of the steepest roads in England where you will experience 30 degree inclines, however the view from the summits are well worth the challenge.

Whether you crawl, walk or run, this is not a marathon for the faint hearted, however promises an amazing experience and one in which your endurance will be pushed to your very limits.
